At the beginning, the question is often: What do I actually need? Is it therapy or is it counseling?
Counseling typically addresses specific issues like stress or relationships and is often short-term and solution-focused. Therapy, in contrast, delves deeper into emotional patterns and past experiences, traditionally involving diagnosis and categorization.

However, a new understanding of therapy is emerging—one that moves away from stigma and labels. Instead of focusing on diagnosis, it emphasizes personal growth, self-awareness, and resilience. I work with this modern approach.
I view mental health as an evolving process, where I help individuals build emotional intelligence and meaningful connections for overall well-being. I'm trained with an emotion-focused-therapy approach, a trauma-informed relational focus and a systemic and experience-based approach. However, I do not treat attested illnesses such as schizophrenia or other severe psychiatric conditions.
